Sei Camini…

Beautiful renovated 19th century farmhouses with a swimming pool, vineyard and gardens, located in the heart of the ‘Golden Triangle’ region of Le Marche, Italy.

Two houses separated by a loggia – we offer spacious accommodation (300m2) in the larger of the two houses – Casa Grande. It is ideal for large groups and will sleep up to 13 people in comfort.

We, the owners, live in the the smaller of the two houses. We are always on hand to help our guests should they need it, but ensure your privacy at all other times, the pool and majority of the gardens are exclusively for our guests.

House & Garden

Sei Camini, the pool and surrounding lawns, the vineyard, the cypress, fruit and olive trees are set in 14,000m2 of gently rolling hillside. There is ample flat ground to play badminton, football or frisbee.

The Marche Region is bordered by the Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo and Lazio regions of Italy. In the east, the Le Marche coastline is lapped by the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Time to relax and get things in perspective… Don’t be put off by the time it takes to get to the farmhouse – the journey from Ancona airport was not arduous or endless, the time past very quickly due to the stunning scenery. When we arrived, we could immediately relax in front of a vista that has not changed for hundreds of years! The mountains were snow-capped and the sea was a haze in the distance. The bedrooms were large and airey. We could not have been made more welcome. Marina and Pete complement the ambiance and are not anywhere to be seen, if that is what you want. On the other hand they produced a fantastic BBQ for us on the first night and can produce a welcome pack envied by any other holiday rental. They can recommend activities in the area and have a table tennis table, plus other games for children to occupy their time. The local pizza restaurant was the cheapest in Italy I would think! If you either want to get away and contemplate your next book, or have a reunion with friends, this is the destination for you. You will not be disappointed. I am looking forward to my return trip! Date of stay May 2012.
